Vertical Ventures' Youth programs focus on building confidence and skill through strength and achievement. Rock climbing is not only physical, but mental as well. Coaching will emphasize the fundamentals of climbing and fitness - balance, movement, communication, nutrition, strength training and mental focus. how it works
The youth programs are open to male and female climbers ages 6 through 18 wishing to build or improve their rock climbing abilities. The Club is aimed at those young climbers just getting into and exploring the sport and meets once a week. The Team meets twice a week, and is aimed at those climbers willing to train a bit harder and take their climbing to the next level.
We encourage and recommend team athletes to climb more than that if possible.
All team athletes receive full member benefits (10% off gear, 1 free guest pass/month, unlimited climbing). If a team athlete does not have their own equipment, VV will provide it on training days free of charge, but it must be rented on non-training days. Having your own climbing shoes is HIGHLY recommended - these are the most basic and critical piece of climbing equipment.
